Wedding Date on Aug 27, 2016

From The Bride: Evan and I met over 7 years ago in college at Western Kentucky University. We were merely acquaintances until almost 3 years ago when we ran into each other in New York City. I was living in Manhattan working in fashion, while Evan was traveling the country with Maui Jim. Evan frequently visited his dad, Tom, who also lived in NYC, and we just so happened to run into each other at none other than a Western Kentucky University football game. Western was playing Army at West Point Academy, just outside of the city. Sitting directly behind me and my girlfriends was a handsome familiar face. After a brief re-introduction to one another, we became instant friends. Nearly a few months later we went on our first long distance date. I called home to my Mom and proclaimed "he was the one" from the bathroom of the restaurant. Little did I know, Evan did the same, "I'm going to marry Alex McLean" he professed via text to his buddies. We dated long distance for over a year, and in November 2015, I decided to make the move from New York City to be with my man in Nashville, TN! We now reside in Music City and are building our lives together as Mr. and Mrs. Sharp
