Layna was summer waitressing at Applebee's prior to her final semester at UW.  Brandon came in to eat with his friends after spending the day on Lake Du Bay.  At the end of his meal, Brandon left his number on his receipt.  Although Layna swore to never text anyone who left their number, her friends convinced her to do it just this one time.  After texting for few days, Brandon and his friends came back to Applebee's and ended up being seated in the exact same booth as the first time and Layna was covering the same section!  We continued chatted and ended up hanging out outside of Applebee's the following week and the rest is history!
