A civil wedding is very straight-forward. While many people may think this style of wedding is limited to a courthouse ceremony, in fact, it's simply any nonreligious legal ceremony with a legal official acting as officiant, as opposed to a religious one.

Civil weddings have no religious affiliation and a government or civil official must preside over their ceremony, as opposed to a religious figure. This style of wedding is not only for those who aren't religious but could be perfect for couples who come from two very different faiths or for those who do not want to be bound by any religious restrictions. I only take on a certain number of weddings per year & I really do value the relationships I have with the couples who book with me. To me, quality is far more important than quantity.
