[jwplayer 3sWZPku5]Adam and Heather Tresidder are first responders that, up until they met each other, figured their lives were just too busy and too stressful to find a true soulmate. Ironically it was work that brought them together and in their first conversations they knew that they had found their mate. Heather was a flight nurse training a new-hire when the woman casually mentioned this “really great guy named Adam.” who was just nearby in Reno. He was a paramedic now but before that an infantry Marine and according to her, very handsome. “Most Eligible Bachelor in EMS.” This of course sparked Heather's interest and so she looked him up on social media and sent a friend request. Once Adam determined that Heather was probably not a sexy scambot he accepted they started chatting. They quickly learned that they had many things in common; Heather and Adam both love the outdoors and on their days off enjoy camping, mountain biking, and snowboarding. They both have a love for dogs and Heather quickly fell head over heels for Adam's two boston terriers, Gunny and Lucy. The feeling is mutual, as they often refuse to go on walks unless Mom comes along too. Gunny, Lucy, Heather, and Adam soon moved to Auburn, CA and Adam began his career as a flight paramedic. The couple is bonded by their shared passion that is emergency medicine and have always encouraged each other to be the best clinicians they can be. They both know that after a challenging shift or critical call that they have one another to lean on and decompress with. Even with the seriousness of their two jobs they still find time to play together. They love making silly videos with legos or attending sci-fi conventions together, because they both believe that laughter really is the best medicine. In 2017 Heather stood by Adam's side as he re-enlisted in the military, this time as a flight paramedic with the Army National Guard. She even letting him put a helicopter on top of their wedding cake this summer. It was of course a Lego helicopter, with Lego Adam hoisting Lego Heather up into marital bliss. Their shared love of the mountains is the reason why they decided to marry in the beautiful Sierra Nevadas near Heather’s childhood home of Lake Tahoe. They knew that they wanted to celebrate their union surrounded by the majestic trees, snow-covered peaks, and beautiful blue skies. Heather and Adam started married life playing in the mountains they cherish so much, and now they continue life playing with legos, doggos, and their beautiful new surroundings in the green Treasure Valley of Boise, Idaho. They look forward to many more years in their new home, and are looking forward to raising little Tresidders to play and grow with in this big, fun adventure we call life.
