Wedding Date on Jun 19, 2020

Walt Disney once said "..it was all started by a mouse" This applies to Disney of course, but it can also be said about the story of the Sulaskis! Abigail and Rob met during their time making magic at Walt Disney World in 2017. The two began to realize their chemistry after inviting themselves along on each other’s adventures. After a sister’s wedding and a “bro trip”, these coast to coast pals caught up through countless FaceTime sessions when they were separated by 2,500 miles. This friendship finally turned into a dating relationship just in time for Rob to hop over to Spain. Since the couple was already accustomed to the long distance, they made it through Rob’s study abroad semester and upon his return he popped the question later that summer! In true 2020 fashion, social distancing caused Abigail and Rob to shift their original wedding plans. What was supposed to be a grand celebration in New Jersey ended up as an intimate backyard wedding in North Carolina. Freshly pixie dusted as her "something blue" to honor her Disney beginnings with Rob, Abbi was ready to tie the knot! With their closest family at their side and loved ones watching through Facebook Live, Abigail and Rob were united in marriage in this “whimsical forest” as Grandma Dot put it. After the ice-cream was scooped, popcorn bagged, and rice crispie cake was cut, a peaceful evening in the Sulaskis’ living room provided a cozy place for everyone to gather. Abbi’s mom read a precious poem that she wrote about the newlyweds. Rob's dad shared sweet and embarrassing stories about his son that kept everyone giggling. Abbi and Rob ended their wedding day with their first dance as husband and wife under the stars. Pure magic!
