Rebekah and Brayden’s wedding was one that truly put into perspective what it is about filming weddings that makes it so special and close to my heart!
I remember the week leading up to their wedding it was forecasted to rain, and unfortunately that’s one of the few factors we don’t have control over. Usually I would feel almost bummed for rain, as they planned for an outdoor ceremony, but I remembered through getting to know these two that Rebekah’s brother had passed in November of 2020. It just felt right that it was going to rain, and it did. I’ve always believed rain on your wedding day is a blessing, and maybe it’s just me, but I felt it was her brother’s way of letting her know he’s there and present for their day. The craziest part was the rain only lasted for half their day, as soon as their ceremony started, the rain stopped. But not only did it stop, when they were finally announced husband and wife, the clouds parted and the sun shined through, the timing was literally as perfect as you could have it😭
However you want to believe it, if you were there to witness this day, it felt surreal. There definitely was something special happening, whether your religious or not, or you see rain as a blessing from a passed loved one or not, or if it’s just plain luck or not; I can’t help but remember how beautiful their day was. Everything from their vows to the way Brayden saw Rebekah coming down the aisle. Their day was emotional! You can just feel their love for each other through their spoken words.
Their love is an amazing example of a strong friendship that manifested to a life and future together! I’m so excited for what’s in store for these two! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture your story and for letting me in on these parts of your hearts❤️❤️
Congratulations again to Mr. & Mrs. Soper!🎊✨😊
