Wedding Date on Feb 22, 2018

Ying and Dave met quite randomly in the grocery store when her mom recognized him from her gym, but it wasn't until two years later that they reconnected. After recognizing her feelings, Ying panicked knowing she was headed on a two month solo Safara trip and wouldn't have Internet or telephone access. So, she feverishly hand wrote 60 letters complete with drawings, stickers and confetti for every day she was absent. As a result of the letters they both realized that had found our forever. For their wedding they opted for an elopement style celebration, bringing along just a handful of family to Maui to celebrate with them. They incorporated Chinese traditions, Ying wore a dress that had been passed down for generations, and finished off the day with an intimate first dance on the beach. In addition to including us in their wedding celebrations, we spent the day before with them and so included some casual adventures on the island in their wedding film as well.
