I picked up a camera when my partner was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is such an inspiring person - I needed to share her story. My first camera was a Canon T7i. Which I took everywhere and slowly started sharing my videos with my inside network of friends. Surely enough, one of my friends responded to a video I made from The Lavender Festival in Ojai, CA and asked me "would you be down to film my wedding?" - I said "Yes, girl!" From there, my passion found me in my most vulnerable of times. I had no clue I was always born to be a Wedding Filmmaker. 6 months after my first wedding, I quit my Corporate Marketing Position and I expanded Sohi Productions. I filmed 32 weddings in my first year and was featured on The Wedding Film School Podcast in an episode called "Booking 26 weddings in your first year." At the time we recorded the episode - I had not even hit my 1 year mark. Now, I am enjoying my life filming the most amazing thing in the world - Love. Love in all of it's forms and all of its beauty.
