Wedding Date on Aug 15, 2020

Stephanie & Steven met at Jericho Tennis Club in Vancouver, B.C. They started dating in 2015 and fell in love during the fireworks on Canada Day. Steve surprised Steph by proposing during a trip to Kyoto, Japan in the Bamboo Forest. After scrapping their initial vision of a 200+ person celebration due to Covid-19, Stephanie & Steve had an intimate wedding hosted at Stephanie’s family home. After sharing their first look at Oak Bay Beach Hotel and stopping for photos with the beautiful ocean views at Victoria Golf Club, Steph & Steve shared their vows in the same backyard Steph used to play in as a child. As soon as we heard Stephanie’s father speak about all of the beautiful memories this home holds for him and his family, we knew we wanted to include some old footage of Steph and her siblings as kids. We were thrilled to hear Bruce had a big collection of home video and we are so thankful he took the time to send some to us - it is such a special addition to this film.
