And it was she who, with her Chicago eyes, saw this Talkeetna man on the dance floor. And the Talkeetna man saw her back. And she grew to love him, and he loved her. It was the most golden fall day in all the land. And there was much rejoicing the whole town over at the wedding of the Sicklers.
