Wedding Date on Jun 14, 2020

Ah our love story! We "swiped right" into each others lives (TINDER)!! We went on 2 dates back to back and we've spent every day together since. Neither of us were looking for a relationship, but it ended up that we were both exactly what the other person needed. Our relationship has really had it's up and downs and it took couples counseling to get us back on track. We suggest that EVERY couples goes to counseling, and not only when things get bad. I might add that my fiance wasn't too keen on going at first, he straight up told me he didn't want to go, but ended up saying that he would go for me if it was what I wanted. Then he ended up being the one that enjoyed it the most. He was great! Fast forward a little over a year, about a month after my fiance asked my dad for my hand in marriage we found out that we were pregnant! And it's a GIRL!! We're both thrilled and we can't wait for her to be here. We are looking at getting married sometime in June of 2020, we're waiting to see how both of our work schedules end up panning out to set an official date. I would say that the success of our relationship has been that the two of us couldn't give up on each other. No matter the argument or situation we would always come back together. One thing that I know stuck with the two of us was that our therapist said, you both have to make a choice, either you all are going to work on this and stay together or there is no point of continuing sessions. Saying that it's a "choice" seemed almost too simple, but she was right. Every single day we choose to love unconditionally, we choose to forgive and to not stay mad, and we choose to keep doing everything we can to ensure the other persons needs are met. The last thing that I'll say that has made an impact on our relationship is the idea that "you don't find the perfect person, you find someone that you can love and cherish, and you constantly work on yourself to make sure that you are what the other person needs." All you can do in a relationship is control what you do, not the other person, but if both people are constantly working on themselves for the other person, than what more can you want? Every day my fiance asks me if there is anything that he can do for me and I do the same for him. We both always say thank you, and let the other person know that we appreciate them. I've never been happier
