Wedding Date on Aug 8, 2016

From The Bride: This is how our love story began. Cody and Morgan met in 2009 at only 15 years old. We spent the time from 2009 until 2014 getting to know eachother and living our different lives considering we lived 4 1/2 hours away from each other. We spent countless hours on the phone, and that was our “dating” for a while considering neither one of us could drive. Life brought us back together in 2014. At this time, Cody and Morgan were both beginning their journey of becoming a firefighter and registered nurse. At this time this is where it all began. The best day of my life was May 18, 2015 when Cody dropped down to one knee at the beach and asked me to spend forever with him. My reaction was not the one Cody expected by any means. I instantly began crying and repeatedly asking "Oh my gosh, Did you ask my Dad?". After much reassurance Cody told me of course he had a long talk with my dad, and I told him I would definitely spend forever with him. This wouldn’t be near as sweet without seeing his side of the proposal. Cody: Now, let me tell you about what I consider the best day of my life so far. I took off from work and planned a day to go to Mexico beach. It was a normal occasion, since we go there often so Morgan didn't think much of it, just we were getting to spend the day together. I was as nervous as I had ever been. I still was not even sure how I was going to do it! The ride from Panama City to Mexico Beach was about a 45 minute drive, but felt it felt like it took 4 hours and she seemed to be catching on to my nervousness! Some of the thoughts racing through my mind was how some people blow this off and make it seem like it is nothing. Well, in my mind I was fixing to ask the girl of my dreams to spend the rest of our lives together! We finally arrived at our destination. My mind was racing as I stood in the golden sand, looking out at the vast ocean. I may one day forget every little detail of this day, but I will never forget the way I felt when she answered my question. It was a feeling of joy on a level I have never felt before. On that day I chose my life partner and could not be happier with my decision. I also adopted an amazing family, that will one day soon be my own. This day truly made me the happiest I have ever been. From this point we spent many many days planning the day where we say "I Do" and spend the rest of our lives together. That day October 8th, 2016 was one day I will absolutely never forget and we will cherish forever.
