Originally my husband, Mike, & I wanted to get married somewhere historic and unique, and for that we were looking at different destination wedding venues. Then we stumbled on DeSeversky Mansion - right in our own backyard in Long Island, New York. It was exactly what we wanted, charming, intimate and certainly unique. The mansion was built in 1918, which meant it would have been 100 years old the year we would marry there on April 7, 2018 making it even more special. Over the next year and a half we planned every detail of our wedding ourselves to create a beautiful vintage mansion wedding, drawing on inspiration from the 1920's. We loved how much this video captured the happiness and love we felt on this day, and the music by Ray LaMontagne, was the same as our first dance song.
