Wedding Date on Aug 16, 2020

Maria and Jake met during their sophomore year at Saint Anselm college. They would occasionally talk to one another at the school cafeteria after lacrosse practice, and eventually hanging out more as time went on. The twitter messages would turn into text messages and text messages turned into dates. Jake studied Criminal Juice, while Maria studied Nursing, but on any given weekend they had free, you would find these two love birds out to dinner or at the movies or sharing a buffalo chicken calzone at the campus pub. Then on May 19th, 2018, they went on a little walk at the Middlesex Reservation in Medford, MA. After exploring several trails, Jake went on to say, “Remember when I was upset that I didn’t get to have Bubba help me pick out a ring for you before he passed away? Well, I lied…” And just like that, Jake got down on one knee and asked Maria to take his hand in marriage. She of COURSE said YES! Maria and Jake had to postpone the wedding due to COVID-19, however, they still were able to celebrate on August 16, 2020, at the Zorvino Vineyards located in Sandown, NH. The theme the whole night was “Love is a beautiful ride” based on their love for mountain biking and after all the stress that comes with a wedding, their love really was a beautiful ride. It was a beautiful day and we were so happy to join them in that celebration. Congratulations to Maria and Jake!
