My husband Luke and I met many years ago at our local community pool, 5 Oaks. We both were registered on the swim team in the "6 and under age group." Through the years my twin sister, Luke, and our friends Andrew and Sarah would form a core group spending summers participating in swim team and later working as lifeguards. In the summer of 2010, Luke and I both found ourselves looking for plans on the 4th of July, which is a huge holiday in our town. We ended up watching fireworks together and have been inseparable ever since! We spent the next 8 years visiting each other at our respective colleges, helping each other navigate "adulting", and keeping me sane during dental school. In my final year of dental school after learning I had passed my boards, Luke took me on a trip to one of my favorite places and a special place for us - my alma mater, Virginia Tech. There at the duck pond where we spent so much time during our years dating he asked me to marry him. When planning my wedding one of the important things was capturing all the memories during the day. Your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye so having a videographer and photographer to capture all the big and little moments throughout the day was very important. Prior to choosing a photographer and videographer, I spent hours looking at photos and reviewing wedding videos. I recommend anyone who is planning a wedding to do the same - you really get a good feel for the photographer and videographer and can find one that best fits your style!
