Every Detail In This Texas Vineyard Wedding Will Take Your Breath Away

Sarah and Josh's deep love for one another radiates through their entire wedding video. We don't use the phrase \"madly in love\" lightly, but that's the best way to describe these two. Watching Josh get emotional when listing the reasons he loves Sarah or Sarah explaining how she just knew he was the man she'd marry, it's near impossible not to tear up. And it doesn't hurt that the overall aesthetic of their Texas wedding is #GOALS. Watch the video by LUME below, and read our sweet interview with the bride:

How did you and Josh meet? Tell us your love story!

We met in the summer of 2012, Josh was in my hometown in Kansas playing summer baseball. We were introduced by my cousin, Rodge - who also happens to be Josh’s best friend. We hung out in a large group the first time we met and he ended up driving me home since we were going in the same direction. I left my purse in his car (he swears was on purpose) so he contacted me on Facebook to let me know he had it. We met up the next morning and exchanged small talk and the purse and I did not think anything else of it. Later on that evening, we physically ran into each other at the bait shop. We exchanged numbers and planned to hang out the next day casually - which ended up spending every day of the rest of that summer together!

Josh was supposed to go back to Texas for school that fall, but God had other plans. He ended up transferring and finishing college in Kansas at Tabor University, about an hour from the University of Kansas where I attended. We spent many weekends road tripping back and forth to spend what little time we could together. Most of it was spend at the baseball diamond for Josh’s games. We have been inseparable ever since!

You said you always had a feeling you were going to marry Josh. Do you remember when you knew for sure that he was \"the one”?

I don’t know if there ever was a certain moment, but a strong feeling that developed over time - a very short time that is. The way he blended so well with my family and friends was really what made me realize that this was it, this is real. My family is everything to me, so to see someone become apart of it so effortlessly was a no brainer.

We love the way your bridesmaids are mismatched but coordinated. How did you go about mastering that look? Did they all pick their own dresses?

It kind of happened on accident. I knew I wanted dusty blue and blush as my colors and not all the dresses to be identical, but I wasn’t sure exactly what my vision was. I wasn’t physically there while my bridesmaid tried on dresses, living in Texas and my family in Kansas made that difficult. My bridesmaid Taeler went with my mom to try them on and I attended over FaceTime. One of the dress styles we liked was only available in the taupe in person, so when we were comparing them all side by side Taeler mentioned they were all three really pretty together. When we looked at the big picture we decided we should add in the third color. I sent each of my bridesmaids the link of the dresses and they got to chose what style they wanted. I chose the color based on the order they were standing in to make it more aesthetically fluid.

How did you find your wedding videographer and what made you choose them?

I found Avery with LUME through Sydney Davidson of Sydney Davidson Photography. She took our engagement pictures and suggested her to me. I took one look at her work and KNEW I had to have her be our videographer. She was MORE than amazing, she has such talent and helped make our day so smooth!

What was the most unexpected part of your wedding day?

I think I was most surprised at the fact at how calm I was on wedding day. I am not always a zen person, and I figured with the emotions of the day added with all the stress and work that was put into it that I would be nervous and anxious. I think having the WORLDS BEST bridal party and family on the planet really helped, I did not lift a finger all day and they handled majority of the questions and behind the scenes work. Also knowing you’re marrying the man of your dreams was a major plus.

What was your favorite part of your wedding journey?

My favorite part of our wedding journey was doing it with all our family and friends. It was so fun being able to discuss colors and details with my bridesmaids and I know Josh enjoyed his time with his groomsman. Also doing this with my parents was one of my favorite parts. My mom and I are already close, but I feel like this brought us even closer!

What's your #1 piece of advice for future brides?
