While elopements can range from guest lists of zero to 50, we love this couple's approach. They knew that they wanted their day to be solely focused on them and their love for one another, so they opted for a celebration with just the two of them. They swapped a big party for sweet picnic atop San Sophia Overlook — and it's perfect. \"Devin and I met at a concert in Chicago. He was on vacation with his family and I lived there. He was sitting in the stands by himself and my friend spent the first part of the show talking to him. By the time I showed up, she knew we would be perfect together and introduced us… We exchanged vows 3 years to the day later.
We decided to elope for many reasons but mostly because weddings tend to become about the people attending. We wanted make sure we completely focused on the two of us and our commitment to each other. The day was absolutely perfect.\"
