Every detail in Morgan and Tyler's wedding is stunning. Since both are graphic designers, the two created everything by themselves, from custom espresso cups to welcome bags. Their suggestion of creating a mood board is such INSPO for every couple that needs help planning their big day. All of Morgan and Tyler's efforts were well worth it, and their last-minute decision to hire a wedding videographer was the best choice ever! They were so happy with their choice to have Harrison Wedding Films capture there amazing day.

The Love Story:

We were both graphic design majors at a small college in Ohio. Tyler was a year ahead of me and while we always knew who each other were, we never really talked much. Two weeks before Tyler graduated, he randomly asked me to go get ice cream with him and the rest is history!

It's clear you had such vision for your wedding aesthetic. Did that come easy to you? How did you decide on a theme and a color scheme?

Since we both have backgrounds in design, aesthetic was really important to us! We treated our wedding much like I treat my design projects -- We started by gathering inspiration and creating a mood board. The mood board helped us to discover overall themes and words that we wanted to describe our day - minimal, modern, organic, industrial and romantic. We referred back to this mood board at most every decision during our planning process. We are both lovers of neutrals so we decided to keep a neutral color palette with the only real colors coming through in the flowers. From there, we chose fonts and created a wedding logo and a wedding pattern. We were able to incorporate these things throughout most of our wedding details - custom espresso cups, coffee favors, welcome bags, all of our wedding signage and our wedding website that Tyler coded from scratch! (www.freshlybrewers.com). It was such a fun project to work on together and I will never forget how special it was to see it all come together.

How did you find your wedding videographer and what made you choose them?

This is a funny story… we actually hired Harrison Wedding Films just 3 days before our wedding! We realized that a videographer is something that we would regret not having so one of my bridesmaids (shoutout to Becky) helped us to find Harrison Films. They were available and willing to work with us on such short notice and we are so thankful that we made that last minute decision. They did an amazing job and we will cherish our video forever!

What was the most unexpected part of your wedding journey?

Tyler is from Ohio and I am from the Eastern Shore of Delaware and we have friends and family all over the country. When we chose our venue, we had to accept that not everyone would be able to travel to make our wedding. We were so wrong! Our friends and family traveled from all over the country to be there to celebrate with us and it meant the world to both Tyler and I.

What's your #1 piece of advice for future brides and grooms?

Hire a wedding planner! There are so many little details that go into a wedding that we would have never known to even think about. Aimee and her team were such a blessing to us and our wedding would not have been possible without them.
