We've always found something insanely romantic about military weddings with the groom in uniform, but Michael takes that romance to the next level with his beautiful vows. We can't get over how vivid his memory of their first date is — it's as if not a single day has passed! Ariel's dad calls Michael a true \"officer and a gentleman.\" Judging by his heartfelt vows and Ariel's MOH's speech, there's likely no better description.

\"We met in college through friends but had our love at first sight moment the summer between Freshman and Sophomore year when we bumped into eachother unexpectantly. We dated throughout the rest of college and then Mike joined the Navy upon graduation. After 2 years of long distance, I moved to Texas so we could start our lives together. Mike proposed on a surprise trip to Austin, Texas for the fourth of July. We planned the wedding from across the country. But it was worth it because we knew that we wanted to get married in our hometown.\"
