Love Story Of The Day: They Connected On Social Media Until They Finally Found A Way To Meet

Taylor and Brian have a modern day love story: They originally connected on YouTube and Twitter, because they both shared a love of the other's content. The connection was strong, but they kept it friendly, thinking they'd never meet each other, until one day… they did! Brian was on tour and stopping in a town near Taylor. They met, hit it off, but labeled it a one-time whirlwind, until one day… Taylor moved to Southern California. They were finally in close proximity, where they could confirm the connection was real.

Taylor and Brian were married 4 years from the date the officially began dating. We LOVE happy endings :).

From The Bride:

Brian and Taylor first met on August 5, 2011 at a national music festival…but the story goes back further than that. Let’s start around 2009.

Brian, located in Southern California, and Taylor, living in Nebraska, connected on YouTube and Twitter without knowing anything about each other. Only being attracted to each other’s content and love for making cheesy home videos.

Over the years, they began a friendly relationship through social media. Knowing that the possibility of ever meeting was very slim, they kept things conservative…until an opportunity arose in 2011. Brian was set to travel around the country on a national music festival, the Vans Warped Tour, which would take him to the middle of the country where Taylor lived. What are the chances!

Come August of 2011, neither of them could hold in their excitement to finally meet in person. Upon meeting as just friends, they instantly knew there was a deeper connection to be had. After the day of the concert, they accepted the fact that they will probably never see each other again. A chance encounter and a once in a lifetime opportunity is all that day was at the time.

At the beginning of 2013, Taylor received an internship in Southern California and knew that this opportunity would bring her and Brian closer. They began talking more frequently, becoming exclusive with each other, and ultimately fell in love before the turn of the year. The result of a whirlwind of euphoria and years of built up excitement for each other.

On the morning of September 12, 2015, Brian led Taylor to the CBS Radford television studio lot in Studio City where he asked her to marry him. It still shocks them that even after having all odds against them, they knew there was a bigger reason behind meeting in the middle of the country on that summer day in 2011.

Their wedding date is December 2, 2016…the 4 year anniversary of the day they started dating.
