Love Story Of The Day: A Blind Date To A College Party Turned Into Forever

Breanna's friends set her up on a blind date to an 80s-themed date party hosted by their sorority. She agreed not knowing that was the night she'd meet her future husband! Their Tennessee wedding was total perfection, and Breanna could not look more beautiful in that lace off-the-shoulder gown.

The Love Story:

In 2012, Bre had an 80’s date party for her sorority at the University of Kentucky. At the time she had no idea who to take and her sorority sister wanted to set her up with a guy she knew would be perfect. When the day of the Kappa 80’s date party finally came, Bre was nervous to meet Clay so a few of her sorority sisters came over to get ready with her. The girls donned Risky Business attire and Bre provided Clay a fluorescent blue wind breaker suit to fit the 80’s theme. Clay and a friend of his arrived early at Bre’s house on Colfax Street.

When Bre and Clay saw each other for the first time they exchanged the biggest smiles and then awkwardly said “hey”. Bre knew Clay seemed shy so she walked up to him and took the lead. Even though the house was filled to the brim, Bre and Clay talked all night on the couch until it was time to leave for the date party. After that night, Clay and Bre continued to see each other and were eventually inseparable.
