From The Bride:
The year was 2013. Nate was living the bachelor lifestyle in Cleveland, OH and Logan was living in her home town of Delphos, OH traveling to visit friends every weekend. While Nate and his friends discovered Tinder as competition for “number of likes”, Logan was pressured into downloading Tinder as a source of entertainment. Despite the 50 mile radius and that fact that neither of them were serious about Tinder, somehow Nate & Lo matched…the rest is as they “history”.
Fast forward to February of 2015 and Nate and Logan are living together in Columbus, OH. Valentine’s Day had come and gone and Logan and Nate swapped gifts. Logan showered Nate with Ohio State memorabilia and Nate surprised Logan with Eric Church concert tickets. Nate had made it known that he combined Valentine’s Day with her birthday gift that year.
Ten days later, on Logan’s 26th birthday, Nate told Logan he would be cooking her dinner that evening. While she was at work, receiving birthday wishes from friends and family, Nate had secretly taken the whole day off. He had given her strict instructions to text him upon leaving from work and reminded her multiple times that day. Logan, thinking he was taking her to a movie after dinner, sarcastically sent texts every stop & turn. Finally when she arrived home and opened the door she was shocked to find Nate down on one knee with a gorgeous ring in his hand. After Nate asked “Will you marry me” Logan joyously replied “YES!”. Little did she know he was filming the entire proposal.
Planning started almost instantly. The both had always dreamed of a big wedding with lots of family and friends present. Logan wanted to have a timeless and romantic wedding with a touch of vintage flare. A long chapel length veil, a stunning hair piece, and 1910s Duesenburg “Titanic” car did just the trick. The couple wanted to wed in the Catholic cathedral style church Logan grew up in and to have a huge celebration of food, drinking & dancing to follow!
