"Our moms went to nursing school together, and then we ended up meeting after Adam's mom made him take me (Lizzy) out in Milwaukee to "show me around". We were both MSOE students at the time and quickly became close. A few months into dating, Adam decided he was going to accompany me on a medical brigade where our group set up clinics in rural Honduras. We have been traveling ever since! We got engaged in Colorado while backpacking on Huron Peak, a 14,000 foot mountain that we summited that day."
