We were both in 8th grade attending rivalry schools. I was cheerleading at a football game on a Friday night at his school. Matt caught my eye as I saw him walking around the stadium, and I remembering whispering to my friend " I want to date that guy". Here we are a decade later! Matt proposed to me at the lantern festival in the Poconos after 8 years of dating. He wrote "Will you Marry Me" on his sky lantern. I said HECK YES as I watched it and thousands of other lanterns ascend into the night sky. It was truly a magical experience to be apart of. My husband has been at the police academy pursing his dream to be a cop. The distance has been extremely hard, especially around wedding time, but it has only made us stronger. Our wedding was June 9th, 2018 at a Boy Scout Camp back home. It was the perfect venue for our outdoorsy personalities to share our vows with each other by the lake, and celebrate with our family and friends. We cannot thank KP films enough, for capturing every detail from our special day. It is truly the most beautiful wedding film I have EVER watched, and our love story is portrayed so amazingly.
