They connected via Facebook and never stopped talking. They thought Brittany and Alan would be perfect together! They then met a week later at a Hop Valley and talked until 4 in the morning. It really was love at first sight for both of them.  Alan proposed to Brittany at Cottage Grove Lake in the evening. She was totally surprised as he'd made her a special book for their 1-year together as well. She, of course, said yes! Alan is a super emotional guy who just melted the moment Brittany walked down the aisle.
