April 23, 2017 is where it truly begin for “Our Story”. Now this day wasnʼt some special holiday or memorial of some sorts. Itʼs was a day in the early spring and working outside in my yard after church. The weather was beyond beautiful. All the blooming trees in my yard was in fact full bloom. With all these elements in place just as I described is the day I knew beyond anything that God was moving me into a new season. One I have never experienced. Along with that I knew Paula was the one for me. Now I didnʼt see the full complete value of that but it was just the beginning. It was like a brand new day, watching the sun rise early in the morning and knowing itʼs going to be a nice day. Yet not sure what will become of the day. That is where I was in my heart it was just in awe and it almost hurt too. The need to have her in my life and share our lives together. The love I was starting to experience for her was of a different level than I had ever had before. It was extremely unique in its own right. Her beauty isnʼt just skin deep but itʼs much further than that. She has something special about her that isnʼt seen very often. Some of that is honesty, integrity, sincerity and deep compassionate love. Now these traits just wasnʼt for me or her close love ones. This was for anyone that crossed her path and interacted with her. I still sit in awe sometimes at that and wonder to myself how blessed I am to be given such a great gift from God. Letʼs face it she is hands down a gift from the Almighty God. Itʼs gives me great joy just mentioning that because I know that I know it was Him that brought us together. Along this journey that her and I are on together. Paula and I have had a lot fun with one another even up till now. She makes a great lover, friend, wife and mother. I have no worries when it comes to being vulnerable around her because I know she has my back just like I have hers. We are one unit and one flesh that works together. There is a scripture in the New Testament that states to be evenly yoked. I truly believe what that means now. I see the purpose in being that way with people in your life. Especially someone whom is going to be your wife in the future. That person must compliment you and bring the best out in you. Along with that they must be willingly to work with you in your endeavors in life. Just like two oxen plowing a field that is yoked together. Both had to work together in order to do the work that was needed to be done. Paula and myself are a great team we work together get thru each other problems. It is quite amazing the partner that I have in her. She is irreplaceable in so many ways. I love how she loves me like she does. It is difficult for me to express into words to give the proper meaning around that. All I can say is it just GOOD! Our story will continue on as it has already with rich adventures and trials no different than anyone else. Except that I am truly doing it with the one God gave me to endeavor these life events with.  SO GOOD!...by Paula Burroughs  "You look so happy!" I heard this so many times from people who knew about my new relationship and those who had no idea but had known me a long time and had never seen this “glow” about me. Each time all I could do was smile. It's not something I could explain with words at all. All I could end up saying was "he's so good to me," or “it’s so good” but that doesn't even begin to tell the story. We’ve all heard love is blind but this is an eyes wide open kind of love. We’ve all been through ignoring things and loving blindly.This is entirely different and We started with a deep connection that has continued to grow into something indescribable. We came into this knowing who we were, what we wanted, and chose to be the most authenentic versions of oursleves. Being completely volunerable opened up our hearts to find real acceptance of each other. No false starts or misguided ideas of a fairytale. I still say nearly everyday "he's so good." He is good to the core. He’s honest, encouraging, hardworking, selfless, intelligent, and intentional in all he does and says. He builds me up and loves me perfectly in a way I truly didn’t know existed. He is so easy to love. I would not change a thing. A simple man who seeks to know and trust God and then let all else flow from that. He is completely ordinary in the most extraordinary way. With his heart and through his actions Bill not only gives love but he IS LOVE as a verb, carried out deliberately. With him I have grown closer to God who is the real source of love because God is love and love is God. It’s the foundation we will build on and have been building on to the best our human ways.
