Zola and Ethan were both in the Peace Corps in Senegal where they met and fell in love. They moved home to North Carolina, building a life together and got engaged. A life-threatening accident postponed their wedding, as Zola and Ethan focused on Ethan's recovery. They were officially married last October at the courthouse, but had their wedding one year to the day later than they had originally planned, with Ethan almost fully recovered. They now look forward to a beautiful future together.
