When Kim and I filmed the Love Story of Louise and Jade, we were pretty speechless most of the time. Being surrounded by pristine nature and wildlife was something out of a movie . We spent a few days before the wedding filming wildlife and the surrounds. Then came the wedding day and that took things to a whole new level. So we asked Louise and Jade to tell us their story and this is what they had to say which brought us to this moment...

"There are two stories I could tell for the day we met - one for when we met as young teens (Jade remembers, I do not) and one for when we actually met years later at the start of our first year of university. Both of which I would not necessarily consider the start of our love story… you see I was introduced to Jade by a mutual friend late one night at a club. It was the week before classes started and there are thousands of new names and faces to remember. I could swear that over the loud beats of the music I heard his name as ‘James’. VERY attractive guy, one I definitely was going to be remembering. Skip ahead a day or two and the first university assembly happens. I’m in a swarm of over 1000 people, keeping an eye out for anyone I might recognise. And I see Jade with a friend of his. I’m on a confidence high from a week of pulling off pretending I’m not actually shy and this is one of the few people I thought I actually remembered the name of. So in the crush of the people I call to him, using the name ‘James’. He politely corrected me that his name was actually Jade, I did the whole awkward excuse making thing and then the crowd split us apart again and I consoled myself with the knowledge that the likelihood I ever have to see him again is slim to none. University is a big place.
Come Monday math class - a relatively small class of about 150 people. I’m dreading having to either sit alone, or find new people to introduce myself to all over again. So in the meantime I choose a seat and just keep staring at the door for anyone I recognise. Next thing I know Jade comes in. It’s obvious he doesn’t really know anyone else so I put on my confidence cap once more and wave him over. For 6 months we sat side by side for every math and chemistry class. He was way out of my league, but we made instant friends. He was dating someone else, I liked someone else too (but as always, was too shy to tell them). I’m not sure when it happened, but at some point in the friendship Jade decided I was the one for him. He’s the kind of person that once he’s decided, he’s decided. And he told me as much. 
I was angry. I think partly because I didn’t want myself to believe I had a chance, but also because he most certainly was a guy that liked playing around with the girls and if this was that, then I was angry he would throw away a friendship like that. So I resisted and shut him down. I made him work for it. 
And I caved embarrassingly fast. 
But what is love if not a risk? At some point you have to decide that the potential greatness is worth the potential heartbreak. And boy am I happy that it’s the greatness that came through. We not only became best friends that year, but we became US. We were and still are inseparable. It’s been 7 years that have gone by in a blink of an eye. I cannot imagine and do not want to imagine any part of my life without him. He is my center, my comfort, my joy. He knows how to push my buttons, but also how to make me laugh - even in the most inconvenient of times. I love him."
