Wedding Date on Nov 22, 2016

From The Bride: Van and I met at an Auburn football tailgate. As the story goes he saw me from across the tent and leaned over to his friend and said "who is thatttt?" Shortly after that, he and his friend walked over to me and his friend introduced him to me. We stayed friends for a long time while Van had his heart set on dating me, my heart was set on playing the game. After a year of serious pursuit on Van's side I finally said yes to a relationship with him. The relationship brought more joy than I could ever imagine. However, after dating for 10 months we felt the Lord calling us in two different directions. Little did we know, 7 years later after a continuous friendship, the Lord would bring our callings back together. I was in Nepal at the time and he had just returned from South Sudan, but he knew I was the one and didn't want to let the 1,000's of miles between us keep him from me. We started dating while I was still in Nepal, while in the Himalayas he facetimed me and told me he loved me for the first time! I OF COURSE told him the same then 4 months later he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him! We are looking forward to a life of adventure, as we both hope to move overseas!
