"I'll wait for you, If I should fall behind, Wait for me." (Bruce Springsteen). When I think of the Jersey Shore, I think of the beaches, boardwalk attractions and Bruce Springsteen. Kellan + Justin threw one hell of a party at The Columns in Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ. They proudly highlighted the true essence of our beloved Garden State. Their wedding is one I will forever hold close to my heart. Kellan + Justin braced a nor'easter and although the weather did not cooperate, you could literally feel all of the emotions and love. Their friends and family traveled near and far and nothing could get in the way of these two tying the knot. They hired famed Jersey Shore heroes, Brian Kirk and The Jerks as their house band. Brian and his band played hit after hit all night long drawing tunes from the Bruce Springsteen song book and many other classic rock hits. The major highlight of the evening was when Kellan's uncle spontaneously jumped up on stage and cued the band to play a song. Everyone looked on curiously to see what was about to happen. We all know that when a family member decides to take over a stage our expectations aren't the highest. Boy, were we wrong. As the band began playing the opening bars to Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, the crowd began to cheer and Kellan's uncle roared and tore the roof off of the house.
