Wedding Date on Oct 6, 2018

From Kelbie-Where to start! My cousin introduced Sean and I a few years ago. (He introduced her and her boyfriend so she returned the favor) she had been so excited for us to meet. I was living in Menard at the time and he was still in Lubbock going to Tech. (Wreck ‘em) So one weekend I made the drive up to the panhandle to meet this guy. I was actually so nervous that I called my best friend and made her come with me to meet him. We all met up at a restaurant called Caprock Cafe. My cousin, myself, my best friend, my cousin’s boyfriend, Sean, and Sean’s best friend(I didn’t know who he was at the time). I made my best friend sit between Sean and I because I was a nervous wreck. We knew so many of the same people, but somehow our paths had never crossed. We all ate lunch and went our separate ways and planned to meet up later that evening. It was so loud in that restaurant that I couldn’t hear a word he said, so I hardly talked at all. I asked my cousin what he thought, and he wasn’t super impressed by my not talking. I later found out that when he walked in he didn’t know if it was me or my best friend he was supposed to be meeting. Anyways, we all met back up that evening and spent the rest of the weekend together. We knew we liked each other but didn’t know where it would go. I went back to my small town a few hours away and we talked every day. The next weekend was his birthday, and he invited me back up for that. I tried to surprise him, but I’ve never been good at pulling those off. After yet another great weekend, I went back home and we continued to talk to each other every day. Since the day we met, we have only spent one weekend apart. The first six months were long distance, and then I made the move back to Lubbock. We moved in together (to make sure we actually liked each other like we thought we did lol) when you know you know, right? We knew early on and last Christmas he popped the question with a family ring that meant more than he knew. We’ve been married a little over a month now and life has never been more perfect. I found my perfect guy (with a little help) and I cannot wait to see where life takes us!
