Wedding Date on Apr 1, 2018

When we first got contacted from Kayla she made sure we knew their elopement was a surprise for their two kids. Their oldest son asked Joey for Christmas that his only wish was for him to marry his mom. Kayla and us made a plan so that their kids would not know what was going on. We first met at the location where they spent most of their dates and family picnics, Wisemen's View in Linville Falls. The kids thought we were doing family photos so it worked out great. Later on we were told her brother was going to be their officiant and boy, did he do a great job! O the day of the wedding, we arrived at the location with the kids and Joey. They thought this time we were doing Easter photos. But as soon as their mom arrived wearing a beautiful wedding dress they both ran towards her. As soon as they saw the signs she was holding, "Here comes our Momma" and "We are getting a Bonus Dad," their oldest started crying– his Christmas wish was finally coming true! Their whole day was perfect and just what that family need it. The crazy thing is that Kayla fell down the stairs a few weeks before their wedding and could not move for a couple of weeks, but you can't tell from the joy and fun she had that day :)
