Wedding Date on Oct 10, 2020

These two - just wow. Ok so FIRST - they are started planning a destination wedding in St. Thomas, buuuuut then the pandemic put an end to those dreams. Instead! They decided to make their marriage official by eloping with only parents and Ryan's sister at Del Mar beach in San Diego, CA. As for their story - it ROCKED us. Here's a snippet of who these two are from Jess's perspective: "Ryan and I met in November 2017. I always say that we met at the perfect time. I was turning 29 and had been single for 5 years. I knew I wanted to be in a serious relationship and had told my friends that the next person I date would be the person I would marry. Turns out I was right! I am big believer in fate and think that our relationship was all about timing. Ryan was living in Carlsbad at the time and commuting downtown everyday for work. I was living downtown. We met on a dating app based on location so I believe that Ryan’s job was the only reason we were able to match online. After becoming a couple, he moved in with me downtown and we now have lived in several different apartments around San Diego. Our dream is to buy a house and start a family here. We also adopted two adorable chihuahua babies together last year. Ryan and I are best friends. We love spending time with each other and our dogs, being active, going for walks and just doing everyday life together!" These two really are what soul mates look like and their vows literally made us cry. Probably some of the most emotional moments of a wedding ceremony we have ever witnessed. Ryan's mom passed away prior to their elopement and these two honored her memory so beautifully. While they mourned the loss of Ryan's mother, they rejoiced in announcing a new and upcoming member of their family - their future child! The whole day was so warm, and sentimental and full of tears and laughter. We were so honored to celebrate these two and their special bond.
