What isn't special about Ivey and Chris? They first met in middle school but didn't reconnect until college. Both of their mom's had been on a cancer journey at one point, so it made for an open topic of support and understanding. They were Christian Studies major's with the intent of going on mission's in their local community and across the world. Ivey and Chris are a quite adventurous and spontaneous couple and love the outdoors. Their proposal started with a road trip through Sedona, Arizona and ended up on their favorite lakeside park bench back in Scottsdale, Arizona where Chris proposed. A surprise engagement party awaited them later that night with both of their families. The wedding was held at the beautiful The Paseo which overlooks the Superstition Mountains, at sunset, oh my goodness. Their wedding, especially their video is unique in how meaningful with words they express each other and their future through a sweet first look and reading of letters. Chris, being a videographer, made an accompanying video of their relationship with his letter, which made it into the wedding video. This wedding is THE definition of a perfect desert wedding with a free flowing and adventurous vibe.
