Emily and Andrew’s love story blossomed in Detroit and only exists because of their relationships to Ford Motor Company. Andrew’s parents met at Ford, and both he and Emily work at Ford now. They fell in love in the city, moved there, and having their wedding at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant in Detroit, where the first Model T was built, was an incredibly poetic way of taking the next step in their relationship.
