Christina + Nick met in the elevator at a Halloween party. Christina was Sandy from Grease, and Nick was ‘Bad Santa.’ Part of Nick’s costume was handing out personalized Christmas cards, and the one that made it to Christina read, ‘Can’t wait for our first date’… Now how smooth is that folks?? About two months into their relationship, Christina received a sobering cancer diagnosis that flipped their world upside down. Upon learning how terrible Christina’s student health insurance was, Nick offered to marry her so she could join his health plan. While this is not how their proposal story actually went down, it’s clear that this kind of deep love and support is foundational to their relationship. Four years later, surrounded by family and friends, Christina + Nick said their I dos at The Manor House. The day was full of smiles, laughter, and multiple ‘finger gun’ dance breakdowns (you may spot three in their film, but believe me… there were more than that!) In the evening the dance floor opened up, as well as the cereal bar. Let it be known that Nick LOVES cereal. Christina busted out a full routine to Toto’s ‘Africa,’ and they ended the night with a magical bubble exit. Wishing these two exciting travels, extra snuggles from their pups, and many more seasons of the Great British Baking Show.
