After a career in fashion retail in New York, Beth decided to take her love of bridal and create the ultimate wedding shopping experience for brides. It is her belief that shopping for your wedding gown should be an intimate and memorable experience – one that is everything you’ve dreamed of, but nothing you would expect. Dressing brides is her passion and there is no greater joy for her then creating the perfect look for each bride.At The White Dress by the Shore, we re-define luxury with our curated collection of chic couture for brides & maids, offered in a quaint antique home. Our setting is as unique as it is comforting, making shopping with us a truly memorable experience.For bridal appointments, we have individual suites, which allow you and your guest's privacy and comfort. Each suite is named after one of the most romantic cities in the world; Paris, Nice, Versailles, and Capri. Each room has its own sense of character and beauty. For bridesmaids, we have a separate bridesmaids atelier that houses our collection. This space provides the bride and her party a dedicated environment to work with a stylist to select the perfect palate and styles for her maids . We are the only store in Connecticut to offer such a special and unique environment to shop for maids.
