Sun Beat Films is owned by Britt and Miah Idema — a husband-and-wife team who've been making films together for over a decade. ​ In 2018 we gathered 60 of our friends and family in Costa Rica, rented a beachfront property, surfed by day and partied by night, and officially got married. That week taught us what a wedding celebration is worth — and the value of having it all on film. ​ Eight years and two kids later, we don't regret a single moment or detail. Our wedding video still brings it all back as if it were yesterday — the commitment, the love, the joy. Before the kids, before the pressure and the responsibilities, it was just us. ​ That's the feeling we're after in every film we make.
