I love photography for its ability to capture our stories and feelings as we go through this journey of life and preserve them wrapped in timeless quality for generations to come, as our visual legacy. I love the joy it brings when we look back and reflect on our journey. I love seeing this joy in other people when they see a beautiful set of images from their life story. My mission is to capture as many of these beautiful stories as possible.My favourite stories are the love stories between two soul mates and best friends, surrounded by the their loved ones, on one of the happiest days of their lives. I put my heart and soul into capturing these love stories and creating something unforgettable for the couple and their family. It’s a very humbling and rewarding experience. It will be a great honour and a privilege to be able to capture yours.My approach to photography is photojournalistic. I like to let the stories unfold in front of me. I love documenting authentic, honest and candid moments, the moments that perfectly reflect who you are as individuals and as a couple. On the wedding day I offer guidance when needed (e.g. family and group shots), but for the rest of the day I like to blend into the background as a creative observant. When the time comes and if you’re lucky you might see me carve a few shapes on the d-floor.I’m there every step of the way, from the initial chat about your wedding plans and what’s important to you, to the delivery of your precious images. I like investing my time in getting to know you before your wedding day, which is why I always offer a pre-wedding photo shoot, so when the big day comes you’ll be a lot more comfortable in front of the camera (and the guy behind it) and you can focus on the most important thing – having the time of your life.
