Film maker, father of three, surfer and I pride myself on not being able to sit still - life's a party! My name is Zac, and film making has always been what I love to do. Over the last 10 years I have travelled around the world on my own and more recently with my loving wife Kate. The packing list was always pair of boardies, a surfboard, a blank map and a camera. We then had to add a nappy bag and porta cot for our little nippers Ella, Van and Luca, but the camera and thirst for adventure always remained. On these intrepid journeys I took every opportunity to capture the places, the people and the moments that we would only live through once. Your wedding day is exactly the same. With my style I aim to capture all those moments that you want to remember. Not focusing too much on the flowers, the dress, the shoes or the decorations, you can relive all those things through a photo. In 20 years you will want to hear the sound of your grandfathers voice, remember the loving words your partner said to you, and laugh at Aunty Shenna cutting shapes on the dance floor. What I provide is a raw chronological edit of your day, I am a fly on the wall and shoot it as it comes with no Peter Jackson like direction. Being a teacher by trade I know the importance of a good narrative and I have a strong storyteller, documentary style approach. I blend the narrative and visual to tell your own personal love story and give you something to show your grandkids how cool you really were.
