He grew up assisting his father who owned his own landscaping business and as a result developed a strong horticultural background. Prior to opening Bloomster’s, Kren learned from and assisted the finest floral artists including working with Erik Bering, florist to the Danish Royal Family. The work of Bloomster's can be found in many of the fine hotels, restaurants, and golf and country clubs throughout the entire Bay Area.
