Wedding Date on Oct 24, 2015

Thanks to Brandon + Ansley, Super 8 wedding films are pretty much our favorite thing ever. The couple chose us to capture their wedding at the Sugar Bay Villa in Discovery Bay, Jamaica, and on a whim we decided to take a Super 8 camera with us. We were brand new to the Super 8 film format, so as a gift to the couple (and as practice for us) we decided to shoot some "b-roll" footage during the preparations just for the fun of it. When we got the processed footage back from Pro8mm in Burbank, California, we were captivated and instantly fell in love with what we saw. Just like an old home movie or the opening of the Wonder Years, we could barely contain the joy we felt despite seeing the grainy shots, unpredictable colors, and shaky movements that resulted from us fumbling around with the vintage camera. The imperfections made it feel so real. So raw. So full of emotion. We knew the moment this preparations edit was complete that Super 8 film was going to be a new love language for us to share timeless stories in a beautiful and unique way. We are happy to report that we now offer Super 8 wedding films and we are so excited to helping preserve wedding day memories in this vintage format.
