*From Alexis and Brian’s wedding website:
“It was a Sunday night (January 23rd, 2011), when Alexis and her BFF’s were heading uptown for her friend, Channing’s, 21st birthday where Alexis first met Brian at the infamous “Tool Time” house. After a few months chatting via Facebook instant messenger, hanging at Pachinkos and New Bar, along with watching some hockey games, they officially were boyfriend and girlfriend.
Fast forward to graduating from Miami and moving downtown, Brian popped the question on March 4th, 2016 and Alexis said yes! Alexis was not expecting the proposal to happen during Brian’s busy season for work so when he asked her to go to brunch at the Original Pancake House (lol) she truly had no speculation hense the sweats, hat, no makeup, and un-done nails. After breakfast, we walked though Lincoln Park when he stopped, got down on one knee, and proposed! Seconds later, Alexis’ BFF, Ali, popped out behind a bush snapping pictures and Alexis’ sister and friend, Caitlin and Kristin, came out of nowhere running towards us in what was such an unforgettable moment.”
