Jacqueline and Ryan met in eighth grade and have been together ever since. In addition to having an incredibly cute love story, their wedding video went viral after the bride's twelve-year-old sister and junior bridesmaid gave a heartfelt toast that made everyone in the room (and on the internet) cry their eyes out. Watch the film by Live Picture Studios below and read on for our interview with Jacqueline!

The Love Story

How did you meet and fall in love?

We met when we were 14 during the last day of 8th grade at an after-school activity. We began dating right away! We were high school sweethearts, and got married at 26.

Tell us how the proposal happened.

I was in Las Vegas for a girls' getaway. On the last night, Ryan surprised me by pulling up in stretch limo out front of the Venetian, pretending it was there to take my friends and I back to our hotel. My friends were in on it. They made me go in first—and there he was! He flew all the way to Vegas from New Jersey and proposed inside of the limo. His dad and brother flew out too, and they were hiding behind the bushes watching in secrecy. I was completely shocked!

The Wedding

Tell us about something that was creative or unique to your wedding.

My little sister, who was 12 at the time (and born on my birthday!) made the sweetest, most heartfelt toast to us. Everyone in the room was crying! I lived at home until my wedding, and she was so sad for me to leave the house even though she was happy for us. The highlight video of her speech went viral and has over 5.5 million views!

Describe the moment from your wedding day that stands out to you the most.

It sounds cliché, but the moment I walked through the doors of the church and saw my groom at the end of the aisle smiling back at me was truly the best feeling ever! There is a picture of me that a guest took on her camera of the moment we met eyes… my smile literally captures how my heart felt the entire day!

How did you find your wedding dress? Who designed it and how did you know it was the one?

It was the ninth dress I tried on, and bought it at the first store I went to, Tesi Bridal in Northfield, New Jersey. It was designed by Sophia Tolli. I knew it was the one before I even left the dressing room, and my decision was confirmed when my family was tearing up as I walked out of the dressing room to show them.

What made your wedding feel extra special to you and your partner?

We dated for 12 years before we got married, and we never lived together. So I think the thought of our wedding day officially allowing us to start our lives together, and finally being able to live together that night, made the whole marriage even more special and exciting!

How did you find your filmmaker and what made you choose them?

After hours and hours of online research! I watched endless wedding videos, and finally chose Live Picture Studios after noticing how their videos told a story — they didn’t just show people’s wedding day with music and words in the background, but really showcased the stories of brides and grooms. That’s what we wanted, a cinematographer.

What is your favorite moment from your wedding film?

Probably the end, as I am walking down the aisle! The music they chose was absolutely perfect: Dramatic yet charming! I also loved my little sister’s toast!

What do you think the \"secret sauce\" to your relationship is?

100% without a doubt: friendship. Love is very important, but at the end of the day you need to like the person you are with. After all of these years, my husband is the best part of me!

Finally, tell us the No.1 piece of wedding planning advice you wish you would have known.

Make sure you book a filmmaker! The day goes by WAY too fast, and pictures can only show so much. A video to look back on over and over again is the best investment (yep, investment!) we made for our wedding. Also, when walking up the aisle, keep your eyes on your man! Don’t let the guests in the crowed distract you. This is the most special part of the day.
