Wedding Date on Aug 26, 2018

From the Bride: Like most great modern love stories, ours started with a swipe. I met Aaron right after moving to a new city, where I didn’t know a soul, and was thousands of miles away from friends and family. Neither of us were expecting to meet our soul mate over a dating app, but life has a funny way of giving you exactly what you need when you least expect it. We hit it off immediately, with easy conversation and instant chemistry. Our relationship took off, and we bonded over shared loves of cooking, exploring new places, and enjoying the beauty of Montana, where we both feel incredibly privileged to live. We challenged each other to try new things. Aaron took me on my first backpacking trip, I took him out of the country for the first time. To steal from my sister’s wedding toast, Aaron is a little more fun when he is with me, and I am a little more down to earth when I am with him. As a couple, we have a great way of supporting each other and building each other up, while also challenging each other when we need it the most. We have both become the best versions of ourselves when we are together, working as a team. We love the outdoors, and most of our fondest memories can be traced back to nights in tents under the stars, long hikes, and new adventures into climbing, biking, and other sports I never imagined I could be doing. It was absolutely perfect, then, that Aaron proposed on top of a mountain at Grand Teton National Park. It was a beautiful fall day, early, and we had the whole hike and lookout to ourselves. In a way that moment was a metaphor for our relationship, full of beauty, excitement, and grand experiences, but grounded in a strong bond shared by only us. It was the easiest question I ever had to answer. It has continued to be a beautiful adventure ever since.
