From The Bride:

For us, love just kind of happened. We both studied nursing in college, and Adam attending the university in my hometown & became friends with some of my friends— therefore meeting him was inevitable. He was always in the background when I’d come home for holidays, parties, etc! However, the falling in Love thing happened when I graduated from college and moved back to my hometown to work at the hospital near by! It started with 0300am lunches at work in random family waiting rooms & quickly turned into cuddle sessions all day instead of sleeping in preperation for our next nights of work! We were quickly inseparable and the rest is history!

People would say we moved quickly…we moved in together within 6 months of dating- but when you know, you know! We were a forever kinda thing and everyone knew it.

Our second year of dating we bought our first home followed by 2 lovely fur babies, Mac & Ellie! What a wonderful year 2014 was for us as a couple!

In 2015 we decided that we wanted to leave our tiny town in Pennsylvania and become travel nurses! For those who don’t know what that is- we basically moved every 3 months, filling holes in hospitals where nurses in our specialities were needed. What an adventure we said! Everyone else thought we had lost our minds! SO March of 2015 we said goodbye to our beautiful home and drove off with just 1 car, our 2 fur babies, and whatever else we could fit in our Honda Pilot!

That’s what led us on the most beautiful adventure. We fell in LOVE with traveling, exploring, seeing anything we could! We fell more in love with each other each and every day, faced with the constant changing of environments and only having each other to lean on. That’s how we became “the travelers.”

We were hooked until we ended up in Seattle, WA for a job! (Which is where we settled down) Seattle won us over really quickly! From the city lights, to the sound, and the mountains surrounding us- this was where we wanted to make some roots! (Again we’re back to our friends and families thinking we were absolutely INSANE!)

In April 2016 Adam proposed in Kauai, Hawaii on an extraordinary hike. Kauai quickly became our favorite vacation spot.

Right from the beginning of our engagement we knew we wanted to get married in Washington instead of Pennsylvania so that we could share our love for the state with our closest friends and family. We got right down to venue hunting and found The a Wayfarer on the magical Whidbey Island!

Flash forward to August of this year and we had ourselves the most perfectly intimate wedding weekend ever! It truly was our “best day ever!” Our friends and family traveled from all over the country (and Canada) to share the special weekend with us- and our decor paid tribute to all of travelers!

Three months later, we are still living on a post wedding high that we never imagined possible! What is a better than living an adventure with your best friend, every single day?! We can’t think of anything either.
