In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting the talented female filmmakers in the Love Stories TV community.
Part of our mission at Love Stories TV is help you find ideas and inspiration for your wedding. As the place to watch wedding videos, we make finding and hiring your wedding videographer on lovestoriestv.com especially easy. An important part of hiring any vendor is getting to know them! Meet Kemari Ihlenfeldt of Kemari Lyn Films:
Hey there, friends! Kemari here and I’m the owner and lead videographer of Kemari Lyn Films. I absolutely love people, flowers, weddings, and filmmaking, so running a wedding videography business is right up my alley! 🙂 I first got into filmmaking when I was in elementary school when my father let me use his camcorder. My interest continued to grow through grade school, and then further in college where I attended an amazing film school, the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts. Through years of formal filmmaking training and continually practicing creative techniques, I am thankful to be able to sharpen my skills as a filmmaker and provide fun and beautiful wedding films for my couples. My husband, Jacob, is my best friend and my greatest encourager. At Kemari Lyn Films, we are a joyful husband and wife wedding videography team specializing in creating handcrafted and artistic wedding films that are fun, intimate, and authentic. I love focusing on capturing those real moments and emotions that are true to a wedding day. I also truly enjoy providing a sweet boutique experience for all of my couples. It is my mission to love and serve my clients well and it is my heart to show the couples hearts through films!
This couple has such a fun style! Tamala, the bride to be, called me up one day and said she really wanted to work with me on a save the date engagement film. I was so excited to meet her and her fiance, Randall, because they had such a sweet personality plus they have a style that pushed me a little further creatively. Typically, we film portraits during the day and golden hour, but Tamala wanted to incorporate both daytime and nighttime shots into her engagement session. This was a great time for me to stretch a bit more and really search for the ambient and preexisting light. Both the couple and the filming experience were such a joy! A big congratulations to Tamala and Randall who are getting married in January of 2018 in Dallas, TX!
Where do I even begin with this couple?! Aw these two are so incredibly kind, super smart (they’re third year law students here), and truly genuine. Their love for each other is so deep and so apparent. Honestly watching their ceremony and hearing their sweet vows to one another has me in tears every time (and I’ve seen their ceremony over and over while editing haha). Also, they got married the day before Christmas and are totally in love with their two dogs and both these things were incorporated throughout their wedding. How fun! Nora and Pat are both great people separately, but they are amazing together as a couple. Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Bailey!
Diana and Khory are friends of me and Jacob. 🙂 We knew them separate from each other (prior to dating), through dating, to engagement, and to marriage. Diana and Khory have such a serving and loving heart for others. This was such a pleasure to see their relationship grow and it was an honor to be a part of their big day! Blessings to the Proctors!
