Wedding Date on Dec 31, 2014

From The Bride: The way Sean and I met is my favorite fairy tale!  On a warm, sunny day in August of 2007, Sean and his friend Alex happened to be driving – more accurately, crawling through traffic – on the Southern State Parkway in Long Island, at the same time as my sister and I were.  Mindlessly chatting, as sisters do, waiting for the traffic to ease up, my sister and I spotted two handsome men driving a few cars behind us  – I guess they spotted us too because the next thing you know they fought their way through the traffic and were waving  for us to roll down our window.  Alex did most of the talking, as did my sister and numbers were exchanged through smiles and blushing cheeks.  I was so nervous through the entire exchange that I kept my back pressed tightly against the car seat, as out of sight as I could manage.  All Sean could see of me was my big curly hair.  The next day the four of us went out on a double date.  I guess you can say our fate was set right then and there.  Although I was too shy to admit it, when I truly saw Sean for the first time, I knew I was looking at my forever.  Sean was a little less shy and told me a few weeks later he would make me his wife. He was right!
